The gear you effectively need depends on the type of Whale Watching trip you are envisaging.|
Even if most people think of whale watching as a boat-based activity, it is also possible to see whales,
dolphins and porpoises from the shore and from the air.
As equipment is especially important for water-based Whale Watching, the following list applies
mostly to trips on a vessel.
- Hood or hat
- Life Jacket
- Warm and waterproof clothes (especially when going on small boats)
- Rubber-soled shoes
- Camera and/or Camcorder
- Waterproof bag
- Seasickness pills
- Notebook and pen
